A Whopper

Catherine had her 9 month appointment today. She has gained a whopping 14 ounces since she was 6 months old. She grew about 1 1/2 inches. This means she dropped from the 15th percentile to the "<3%" area in weight and she was already there in height. Her pediatrician called it "failure to thrive." However, since she is happy, healthy, smiling, waving, crawling, babbling, clapping, and doing all the cute, fun, energetic things a baby should do, he isn't worried. She might have this small gene coming in from her mother. She is so cute, and obviously, takes to the water like a fish.
