Cute Cute Cute

My sister posted the cutest pics of Lily at her reception. Jill's wedding was so fantastic and she looked amazing. Lily and Tom were serious dancing machines. We love you Jill and Paul.

Hooray!

Guess what Tom did?!
I will give you a hint. It includes the toilet and bribary, and the decision that a Nerf Gun (like "'Uke's and Isaac's) is better than a diaper.
Congrats Tom. You have made your parents very, very, very happy.

The pose

This is one cute girl. You might notice that in about 80% of the pictures of her lately, she does this pose. (Surely she doesn't take after me as a child....). She is so cute and such a joy to have around. I love the kindergarten age. She is old enough to help, but still young enough to forgive me instantly when I mess up. I am so grateful for Lily, and all my kids (and especially for my hubby).

DC Temple

Well, in looks, I think this temple tops the list. There are some things about living here that aren't so wonderful, but this temple makes up for them all. It is so big and spectacular. We took the kids there last weekend (the day couldn't have been more perfect). We went the the visitor's center, and walked around the temple grounds, and I couldn't help but feel so grateful for the temple and for eternal families.

I am a bad mom....but she is cute.

I have found the way to do Catherine's heart... (actually, in this case, hair..) SUCKERS. The only way she will sit still long enough for one little pig-tail is by sucking on one of those wonderful candies. She is so cute, and she still has no teeth, so I guess I don't need to worry too much...

A boy and his dog

This is what Tom does a lot of lately....dress up as the day's favorite superhero, and then go play with the dog. It is fantastic. We really are liking Joy. Tom really loves her.

A better Halloween post....

Real trick-or-treaters endure many things...like costumes that are too big, rain, and people STUFFING candy into your buckets. The kids were happy after their much anticipated night. (Especially Catherine, notice how happy she is with the suckers...)
